Engagement Terms
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These terms describe how 21labz takes on client work. They apply only when we have not signed a separate proposal or contract. A signed document always prevails. This page does not start a project by itself, and it is not legal advice.
01Starting work
Work starts only after we send a written proposal and you accept it in writing, including by email. The proposal states the scope, timing and fee. Work outside that scope is a change, and we agree it before doing it.
02Fees
Unless the proposal says otherwise, invoices are due within 14 days. We may pause work if an invoice is overdue. Expenses agreed in advance are billed at cost.
03Your materials
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you send us and for having the rights to it. You give us a licence to use those materials only to do the work.
04Confidentiality
Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for the project. This does not cover information that is already public, already known without a duty of confidence, or that must be disclosed by law.
05Intellectual property
When the project is paid in full, you own the deliverables made specifically for it. We keep our pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how, and we license them to you as part of the deliverable. We may show the project in our portfolio unless the proposal says it is confidential.
06Personal data
If the project involves personal data of your customers or users, you are the controller and we process that data on your instructions. We sign a data processing agreement when you ask, or when the project requires it. Data collected through this website is described in the Privacy Policy and the KVKK notice.
07Liability
We do the work with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project, and we are not liable for lost profits or other indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or rights you have as a consumer.
08Ending the work
Either party may end the work in writing if the other does not fix a material breach within 14 days of being asked. You pay for work done up to that date.
09Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Antalya have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections of your place of residence still apply.
